During your consultation, Dr. Shrager will evaluate your smile and discuss multiple treatment options and customize them so that they may your specific needs. There are several treatment options when considering braces, and only a fully trained orthodontist has the additional years of training-beyond dental school-- that are required in order to determine which type of braces are the right option for you. Options include Invisalign®, Sure-Smile, Tooth-colored braces (ceramic brackets), braces behind the teeth (lingual braces), and traditional braces are options that will be discussed during your initial consultation.

We use Digital X-Rays because Digital X-Rays reduce radiation exposure by as much as 90% when compared to traditional x-ray technology.

Invisalign® is a series of clear, plastic aligners that straighten your teeth without the usual noticeable, bulky materials involved with traditional braces. Dr. Shrager is a premier provider of Invisalign® technology in Central Florida. This means that she is likely one of about three possible orthodontists in the area that can declare the type extensive experience necessary to give the most predictable and reliable results. Stated simply and according to representatives at Invisalign she is doing more of these types of cases on a regular basis, than a majority of providers. Invisalign moves teeth in a different way than traditional braces do, so you really need someone who has a very strong background in this type of technology. Experience is the key to success every time! Dr. Alexis also has noted that in very small percentage of all cases teeth do not still resolve exactly as they should in the most predictable fashion. When this happens, although rare, she has the capability and capacity to finish the case using standard braces. You will love your results!

The Winter Garden office is convenient to Windermere, Gotha, Ocoee, and Apopka, and can accommodate same-day appointments in most cases.

The Dr. Phillips office, on West Sand Lake Road, is convenient to Bay Hill, Dr. Phillips, Lake Buena Vista, and Metro West areas. Patients are seen on Wednesdays at the Dr. Phillips office.
